WHO AM I ?

I am Arturo Morales Rangel - a software developer specializing in VFX and pipeline automation. I was born in Mexico City where I graduated with a Master's Degree in Computer Technology from the Center for Technological Innovation and Development in Computing of the National Polytechnic Institute.

Motivated by the film industry and visual effects, I pursued my dream to become a part of the big game in Hollywood and contribute to the magic of cinematography with new solutions. That’s what inspired me while studying to develop software for VFX automation which I named 3D Generic.

My portfolio includes world famous award winning productions where my skills and my software were used as a crucial part of the project execution in R&D pipeline and data management.
Today I am proud to be one of the youngest active members of the Visual Effects Society and to work with some of the greatest VFX studios and Visual Effects Supervisors worldwide. I am currently based in California working on corporate projects and movie productions.
